Kahn Design faced legal action from Ferrari over its "F1" number plate. Ferrari argued that the use of "F1" on the plate could cause confusion and mislead the public into thinking there was an official connection with Formula 1 racing. The case was resolved with A. Kahn Design agreeing to change the plate.
